How to remove people from a photo

Use Removal to mark an unwanted person, then review the AI-assisted edit before saving.

1. Choose the photo

Open your photo in Removal’s Magic Eraser editor. Start with a clear image and keep the original.

Use Character or Object to select the unwanted person. Check the edges before processing.

Look closely at nearby faces, shadows and repeating textures. Refine the selection if the first result needs work.

When you are happy with the edit, save the result from the app.

Remove one distraction at a time. Busy backgrounds and overlapping subjects may need a smaller selection or another attempt.
